Pandit Bharat Bhushan Goswami has mastered the expressive versatility of classical sarangi. His grandfather, Pandit Anmol Chand Goswami, was a noted exponent of Haveli Sangeet, an ancient form of North Indian devotional singing, and the family’s vocal traditions have influenced his style.
First trained in sarangi under Kanhaiya Lal, he went on to study under esteemed Benares gurus including Pandit Hanuman Prasad Mishra and Pandits Rajan & Sajan Mishra. He is in demand as a soloist as well as an accompanist, with a rare command over the subtleties of his instrument.
Darbar believes in the power of Indian classical music to stir, thrill, and inspire. Explore our YouTube channel, or subscribe to the Darbar Concert Hall to watch extended festival performances, talk and documentaries in pristine HD and UHD quality.
