Vittal Rangan is a distinguished Indian violinist with a career spanning over a decade and more than 2,000 concerts. An 'A' graded artist of All India Radio, he began his musical journey under the tutelage of his mother, Chitra Bilvam, an AIR-graded vocalist. His initial violin training was with the late R.R. Keshavamurthy, and he later became a disciple of Vidushi A. Kanyakumari. Known for seamlessly blending diverse musical ideas while upholding traditional values, Vittal has accompanied numerous eminent musicians, including Ranjani and Gayatri, who commend his self-assurance and quick adaptability to rare ragas. Beyond his musical pursuits, he is also a qualified Chartered Accountant.
