Unnati is a British Indian singer-songwriter-composer, her late father was Nitai Dasgupta an Indian Classical vocalist.  Immersed in an Indian Classical musical childhood whilst being raised in London and growing up around Pop, Jazz, Soul & Rock, Unnati toured with her father during her teens.  Unnati released her first album “Vishwa – The Universe of Music” with a 6 City India tour of Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore & Coorg.  Unnati is a Glastonbury Unsigned Artistes Jazz World finalist and has performed at prestigious venues; The Royal Albert Hall, Southbank Centre, Cadogan Hall, Mexicos Cervantino Festival, Boubous Music Festival (Caribbean), Kala Ghoda Arts Festival (Mumbai) and Pizza Express Jazz Club.  Unnati’s song ‘Teri Yaad Aati Hain’ has been licensed to Buddha Bar’s Compilation album ahead of Unnati’s release of her album”Indigo Soul’.  Unnati’s international music is crossover of Indian classical, pop, jazz, sufi and bhajan reflecting Unnatis British Indian heritage.
